yesterday i won 50$ on a scratch ticket. cool! i never win anything other than the bare minimum of what you can win on anything. First time ever. Then tonight my mom and i decide we'll use the 50 bucks to go to bingo and then i won 75 bucks. Totally cool! hahaha. I needed three more numbers and i got them one after another. And by the time the jackpot game has happening it was getting late and i had three numbers left. I was sure this time i wasnt gonna get it. I love to get excited even when im 5 numbers away, (not knowing my mom is sitting there quiet and shes set with only one number to go) anyways 3 numbers to go again. 2/3 of the same numbers i got before. And bam 3 in a row they go again. I won twice! This time i won 1,000$. What a nice week. I split the money with my mom of course cuz thats just wat u do. Although i wish she would have give me a bigger cut than her. Oh well. I have a lot of money now. Not a ton. But its definitely a lot when you got it for free. wooo. go jamie. im gonna buy a lottery ticket this week. WISH ME LUCK!

-The increased numbers of new cancer cases are primarily due to an increasing the aging population.

-Lung Cancer is the leading cause of premature death in Canada.

-Incidence and mortality rates are much higher for women during reproductive years than men. (Age 25-54)

-38% of all Canadians women and 44% of all Canadian men will develop cancer during their lifetimes. Based on the mortality rate of 24% of women and 44% (approx. every 1 in 4 Canadians) will develop cancer in their lifetime.

As you can see, cancer has been a major issue affecting population and population growth in Canada. If cancer remains to be on the rise for mortality rates and continues to show linear patterns (in accordance to age and sex) then it may be very hard for Canada to rebuild its population to the potential we could have. In this, life expectancy would most definitely decrease because of a higher mortality rate due to cancer. There are preventative measures taken by Toronto Public Health, Health Canada and WHO (World Health Organization) to reduce the mortality and incidence rates in Canada. These preventative measures include: up the minute published literature, screening reports and national surveys about cancer in Canada and cancer screening programs. These cancer screening programs are designed to detect cancer or pre-cancerous conditions in asymptomatic individual. The goal of cancer screening is to reduce the cancer death rate by detecting and treating the cancer during the early stages/early signs of cancerous growth.

There are many preventative measures that are also encouraged to be taken within the home. There are direct correlations to a person’s daily habits and patterns within the home and those people whom develop non-hereditary cancer. If the patterns continue, and change is not implemented within Canadian society then the risk of developing cancer may rise and be an even greater factor for life expectancy. Some of the changes that are encouraged to be altered are:

- Diet
A quarter of all cancerous deaths in Canada are caused by unhealthy diets and obesity. Canadian people seem to have trouble implementing a healthy diet into their daily lives and eating the daily amounts of fruits and vegetables. If this habit changes, then it is proposed that an individual’s risk of cancer will drop by nearly 50%.

-Tobacco Smoke
Lung cancer is the leading cause of cancerous death in both men and women. Cigarettes/tobacco smoke cause cancer and implement the cancerous growths that occur in the body. If smoking is avoided completely, then the risk of developing lung cancer significantly decreases.

The Sun/Radiation
-If the sun and radiation exposure are kept to a minimal then an individual’s risk of developing skin cancer decreases.

If these changes are eventually implemented in Canadian society, then eventually cancer will not be as big of a threat to population growth and life expectancy. It is unfortunate to us that every couple of years the world is faced with a new pandemic that alters/affects our lives. (Ex: SARS, AIDS) but it is very likely that in the future these things will not be of concern to us any longer, and certain technological advances will help prevent the further risk of developing these diseases. Until then, it is strongly encouraged by the large corporations and fellow people of our society to begin to implement and introduce proper diet and practice better awareness to the harms/risks that occur from things like sun exposure and smoking.

The following graphs and tables are here to show proper mathematical models and representations of Cancer in Canada, the types of cancer and rates of effect, Canadian cancer rates vs. other countries, a 5 year relative study of cancer survival in Canada etc.

Well i'm sick and so i dont have much to do but i did watch x men 3 and i came across some awful news.
I dont know how many of you know about the crocodile hunter (Steve Irwin) but he died today...agh..i cant believe it

The best day in the world.

Today i spent (the majority) of the day with my bestest friends in the world.
The day started off at 9:30 but we didn't get to wonderland anywhere near that time...oh no no were we decieved. Ken took his regular amount of time...5 billion and one hours..

S'ok though cuz i had to get my whole money thing sorted out. Which was totally cool in the end. Some things bothered me throughout the day but nothing that wrecked the mood of course. Nothing can wreck the mood with dave around lol. Dave ur awesome. We spent the majority of the day in the water park...infact i think we may have started there...but wat an awesome day to spend there. It was hot, i got a little sun and had lots of fun. We went on the toilet one (which dave owes me three rides on next time, no negotiations.) And we raced, in which ken won and i came in a close second and then dave passed us all lmao. It came time to leave the water park and we started going on other water ride...water canyon and timber wolf falls...and we pimped it up with psyclone. That ride is insane <3454664665474747474 one of my favourites by far.

Martina disappeared for the day and i was kinda sad...my little martini :( where for art thou? But then she appeared again and we were all happy and by that point kaitie and marco went to work....then we ate. MmMmm,cheeseburger. With a simple wrapper that said cheeseburger in yellow, it was cute i liked it. Then we went on drop zone. From dropzone..me, martina and dave went on sky flyer. The bungee jump thing.

20 minutes later..after nearly going insane from nerves and stress we thought it was one of the single most amazing experiences ever. I got the keychain cuz i can just never forget how great it was to do that. Thank you so much for coming with dave. Two things u have never done...drop zone and sky flyer and ur afraid of heights...can anyone say champ?!?! nothing says champ like dave lol.

Soontimes i'm goin to newfie land for 3 weeks and then wen i get back i go to south hampton. Hopefully i get to go to New York with Martina at some point, that would be awesome and for sure we'll try and go to Saga. Pirates tomorrw? And lets not forget camping with the group. It should be amazing. I'm stoked.

My goals for the summmma time

- save up for the portugal/spain trip next year.
- read and learn my entire bio textbook <3
- read up on some chem and physics shtuff.
- spend more time with my mommy.
- get a memership to curves (yay! lol thats so cute)
- buy the 1,000 need to see films before you die book, and begin to watch them all.
because i have discovered how profound a good movie can be.
- go camping with the group.
- have weekly drunken/high shindigs as the female mike grehunwnfunewfncheck.
- watcha ton of disney movies.
- go to lots of cute small restaurants down town.
- get my hino horror comics <3
- learn to do crazy make-up.
- go to wonderland a bazillion times.
- go bungee jumpin
- and get everyone of my friends to do one thing that haven't done before, before the summers end.
for example: Dave has never seen waynes world. That classic movie will be watched and enjoyed by him at some point this summer. And ummmmm.... yea..i think the last one is the most important, just cuz if you get to do something new with a friend, then it's bound to be something u remember for a long time to come.

p.s. i thought i was having a grumpy day...being up at 6 to watch my cousin...and having a horrible headache and wat not, but i love my friends and how everything is going right now. I couldn't ask for anything more but to have god watch out for a certain boy. I love him, like a lot, and he seems to have found himself in a bit of a pickle. I've been down the road with this one, but i really hope he learns that we all miss the old friend and that his life can be real great sober, thanx <333.

So thursday night was prom. We hit up the limo like badasses. (Cept me and my mom took a while to get to amandas because we were waiting forever at the wrong address...but thats coo) Well...we made it to prom and everyone looked amazing. So pretty. The place was nice and the overall prom was pretty good. We got a cute little picture of the group looking their cutest, and me and shane somewhat..talked some stuff out. I dont remember a lot of wat i said...and if i should have said it or not but i guess it doesn't matter now. We went for a walk...for a while...on wat i thought was to find some sort of convenience store...but instead we found some random stores full of nothingness..
I got back to think everyone was mad at me..but nobody was so that was cool.. That came the limo ride...we all talked forever about stoopid stories and funny things that happend...at one point i told a story that freaked me and pretty much anyone else out...about one time i was in my bathtub and somebody came in the house and my mom was out of town...some ppl know this story like..im pretty sure shane does and stuff and i told rosa at some point..

* braulio explained beforehand that he has...a cellar on the outside of his house..*

" one time i heard a noise, and i decided to ignore it...but it kept happening so i decided to go check. Turns out a hobo is living in the cellar of my house...so...i thought to myself....wat do i do....do i...do i....kick him out?!"

that was the limo. Once we arrived at wasaga expecting to stay out on the beach all night...turns out we were able to get a room which was pretty cool Everyone pretty much went to bed cuz we didn't get to finally get a room and settle in till about 4:30 ..but that was it..me kyrkx and regina were up for the night. I was up for a complete 24 hours...and didn't fully recover for the rest of the weekend. But it was okay..we had some good times on the beach. I found out a couple things, like you know wen u jump off something and u get the tingles in ur foot? Well braulio once got them so bad that he didn't go to school for 2 days. There really are really foreign ppl who know nothing of canadian culture and our customs about belly button lint.

after a few attempts on explaining it...i still failed.

Africa, Antarctica, Asia, Australia, Europe, North America, and South America.
turns out...i was right...it is not THE AMERICAS and that north america and south america are seperate like i thought. And no regina....india in not a continent. And kyrkx for the love of god..there aren't two different types of continents for antarctica.

FRIDAY
turns out the weather and shit isn't all that nice. So we all stayed inside and chilled just talking about nothing and everything for hours as the time went by ever so slowly before we reacher hammer time central...where it just wouldn't stop until we got home...atleast for me david and kyrkx. It was a pretty sweet deal. Just sitting and doing nothing. Then it came time for the stoners to arrive. Mike Gruekninfnvkjwjnkjwjncheck, Julio and Domingo. That cabin we were in all day was pretty chill compared to the rest of the shit box cabins llike number nine that had an indoor outhouse. That evidentally turned into the stoner cabin. Filled with beer bongs and gravity box, while other hotboxed the washroom. (Of course i was sure that if mike could he would hotbox his grandma) He did mention several times that he wish he had a staple gun so he could staple a sheet to the door frame so we could all hotbox the closet, we never did, but i think u get where i'm going with the hotboxing his grandma and wat not. We all drank a bit that day, some drunk but not quite drunk enough...another party was going down not too far from ours at Antonios cabin but me martina and regina decided to go to sleep.

The rest of the weekend in no particular order.
Then the funny shit went DOWN.
I may just have to write this in bullet form.

-woke up...and started hammer time at about 9 o'clock.
-went down to antonios while all of us were a bit typsy already.
-chilled there wen back to our cabin only to discover...the stoners were stoned and marco was PISS DRUNK.
-walked around.
- kaitie and marco locked the door so we launched jon in and he opened it for us.
-now there are variations of stories of wat actually went down but everyone likes to exaggerate,
-marco barfed all over the place.
WHERES THE BARF?!?
- braulio got crazy drunk and ran into the woods with one shoe after finding out that his ultimate best friend was the beer bong, pushing the limits nobody should...drinking a ton of beer and some wiskey. Crazy mofo.
- Jon officially went insane and should no longer drink ...ever..ever..again. We have videos. Just ask to see. Hes; insane in the membrane.
- I was stuck perma high and fell down some stairs only till david stopped my fall HAHAHA.
- Eliezers cabin, was better then anybodies house combined with my apartment.
Me and dave got free food, weed and drinks. Plus they had more then one tv and a beday.
- Kyrkx was drunk longer then 24 hours.
Radik felt up kaities bum and my leg then barfed all over his white hat and the bed braulio wiped his hands on after he used the washroom.
Daniel and steven came up with mark and that other guy on saturday.
-Daniel and Steven stayed the night and we laughed forever until the wee hours of the morning.
-Mike Girashcjhbhbwejhbwhcheck invited like 20 ppl into his cabin, whom he didn't know.
- Ken made out with a random college girl.
-I went running in the freezing cold water with Francois.
(whos pretty damn cool by the way hahaha)
-I bought david a shirt that says leader of the pack and a italia shirt because i'm going for them for the world cup.
I didn't see much of Martina.
- Kyrkx had a chinese womans voice and it made me pee a little everytime he talks.
-We ran out of like 4 rolls of toiler paper in a matter of the first day because everyone took a shit in the stoner cabin,
- We tried to see the sunrise but we were looking at the wrong side of the sky.
-Girls do not shit from their vaginas.
-And there were so much more...that eventually i'll add in..

MY TRIP TO THE FOREST

so like once upon a time there was cool girl named Jamie ....(hairyass) to be exact. She was struck with bordem one day and decided to go for a walk in
the puuuurdy forest right by her house. She took pictures of all the beautiful treasures she had seen along the way home. **including the chesters bag**

well she continued her journey looking at the small and rather dirty waterfall, the polluted dirt path and the dark rainy sky. Suddenly she was struck
with a spontaneous idea....but thats another story.

other than the sudden spontenuity, she loved everything she saw. The water drops on the leaves, the dandilions, the dirty humber river water. She was at home
..and more comfortable then she had been in months. She saw creatures she hadn't seen for a while and remembered wat it was like to be a little girl
again. Sometimes it's the little things you have to be reminded about, to realise how much you have.

i like living by the forest !
my favourite picture is the one of the little flower, the white one...i think it's a weed....but i think it's beautiful.

Hes warm and fuzzy, he follows me around and he sleeps at the bottom of my bed everynight.
He can't clean past the chest of his body.
And he lays down to eat.
His loves and passion include: treats and varietys of food
He's really shy and he paws at little kids that try and rub him like Buddah.
He likes to eat grass and he used to be in a gang with bigger fatter cats.
Honest.
He's got HUGE eyes, like me.
And he only whines when he's afraid he may run out of food.
He's got a wee black spot on his nose, and he only runs when he absolutely has to.
He's loved by everyone and most of all me.
He's the greatest cat in the world.
Not to mention the worlds....chunkiest...
lol my cat owns your pets.

p.s. i have two turtles and a total opposite cat that are that good too so dont try and compete.

can't eat.
can't sleep.
over the fence.
world series kinda stuff.

the ones that keep u from wanting to stay in the sheltered darkness of the nite between the street lights.
the ones that you would do anything to keep.
the ones that make u feel like your important.
wanted...needed.

often people mistaken this for feelings of love.
but there is more then the warm friendly touch of a familiar hand and hug of an innocent boy.
there's tons of things that can make you feel that way.
yet we conform to the feelings and satisfaction we feel from another much like yourself.

It's definitely possible to reach that feeling of ultimate euphoria.
A way that allows you to stay in the darkness of the night and not be afraid.
One that makes u feel the happiest you possibly could.
One that makes u closer to a person than you could ever feel.
And it has nothing to do with love.
Nothing at all

and i can't find it anywhere.
i've had it a few times.
